Angeles National Forest Small Stream Clinic
About this event

Geared for beginners who attended ITFF or are new members that have joined in 2026 or 2025. This is an introduction to small stream fly fishing for native wild trout by our volunteer Stream Leaders. These pesky fish require tactical stealth approach, you will learn about stream structure, reading moving water, wading, fishing etiquette and basic casting. Location will be provided the evening prior to the event. Either Piru Creek or San Gabriel River. Fishing gear will not be provided by SPFF.
Limited to 12 anglers. We will add more spots based on the Volunteers to lead on the stream. Please sign up on the waitlist to ensure you are on the list.
Don't forget you Adventure Pass & CDFW fishing license.
