The Getting Started Outing is a fantastic event designed especially to help beginning fly fishers to get started fly fishing the Eastern Sierra. But even experienced old time members can join in the fun. Check out the line-up of guided activities. Register for the BBQ Dinner and those events that you qualify for. Note that a few are specifically encouraging beginners. Others are planned for more advanced anglers. Many are open to all. Or, don't register for any of the guided activities, but come and fish some of your favorite Sierra spots and get together with friends for meals and campfires.
ITFF Students: This is now your Graduation Outing, since the March event was cancelled. You are encouraged to come to Mammoth Lakes and learn about all the great places to fish.
Camping
We do have a reservation at the group campground in Shady Rest. In order to reserve a campsite contact Michael Schweit (msangler@earthlink.net or 818-601-9702). The costs will be divided by the participants. The site is reserved from Thursday through Sunday.
Registration
Click on the "Register Now" button. follow the instructions. Note that the BBQ Dinner is listed at $30.00 and youngsters under 12 are only $15.00 and the open bar is of course, additional. You must pay for the dinner at the time of registration with either a credit card or PayPal. Review the activities and check those that you want to do. Make sure that your selected activities don't overlap as it's rather difficult to float tube Crowley while casting dry flies on the Dana Fork.
